The Hydraulics Laboratory, Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, Universitas Gadjah Mada, has been established since 1972.
The first laboratory building was located within the city of Yogyakarta, and since 1994 moved to the new building located within the campus of Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, Universitas Gadjah Mada (CEE-UGM).
